Ease of Use:  

Because SiteChat Deluxe is web-based, it isn't as simple to use as other chat services. The advantage of a web-based service is mobility; you can run and manage the service from anywhere you have an Internet connection. If you want, your chat operators could work out of their homes.

Setup Ease:  

Setup of SiteChat Deluxe is difficult because this chat service is web-based. Pervious experience with chat software and website technical expertise is a must. You'll need to know what you want to achieve with your chat service and you'll need the know-how to achieve it during setup.

Multi-Tasking Ease:  

All the controls you need to run several live chats simultaneously are available in SiteChat Deluxe, but using them takes a few extra steps. And because the service is web-based, you will be waiting on users' web browsers.

Chatting using SiteChat Deluxe takes a little longer than using other live chat services; there are often short delays. Over an 8-hour work shift, your chat operator will not be able to host as many chats as with a higher-ranked live chat service.

Monitoring Capabilities:  

Because SiteChat Deluxe is web based, there are not as many tracking and monitoring features. For example, SiteChat Deluxe will give you a visitor's IP address, but other chat services also show you the country, ISP provider and other relevant data about the visitor. SiteChat Deluxe provides most of the tracking and monitoring abilities we review, but these aren't as refined as on other live chat services. Also, SiteChat Deluxe doesn't offer a "Who Is" search or show a website statistics summary.

Feature Set:  

This live chat service offers basic features only. You can't, for example, customize the look of your customer chat window, spell-check, chat messages, share documents or co-web browse. The SiteChatter service doesn't offer any of the live chat marketing or safety features we review.
