ProtoChat
— is DHTML based prechat that popup everywhere & every time when operator requests it. ProtoChat is not blocked by popup blockers. It helps to sell PROACTIVELY more and squeezes out all sales from every cent invested into your CPC campaigns.
Live Engage — open chat request window on visitor’s side. Popup blockers would not block that window.
Form Sharing (Co–Browse) — Follow Me with Form Sharing feature permits operator to co-browse website with visitor. Fill forms and see what visitor types in a form. (requires Internet Explorer and popup blocker to be off, Java is NOT requires, plain JavaScript implementation).
Live Spelling — spelling errors are underlined in real–time as you type. When you click on the underlined word then menu with suggestions arrives.
Auto Correction — automatically corrects most common errors.
UNICODE support — Built in UNICODE support permits you to chat in Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and other languages.
Geo Locator — Retrieves IP’s whois information to detect geo location of website visitor.
Notes System — Attach notes to visitor while chat with visitor. This note would be available for all operator when visitor comes back next time.
Commands system — you can execute 3 predefined JavaScript commands on visitors side. You can call commands from Site Monitor. (e.g. push surveys, popup, set blocking cookie or anything else you can code in JavaScript).
Call Distribution System —your system automatically routes calls to operators. Operator that receives call distribution request may accept call, forward call to the next available agent or decline call.
Visitor to Operator chat — one to one chat, targets visitors to right operator’s group.
Operator to Operator chat — operator may chat with other operators to find answers faster.
Secure pages support — SSL buttons are available for secure pages. (128 bit SSL)
More secure options — sometimes it is not possible to use hosted services for communication. We do not advise to use our or any other hosted live chat service for really sensitive data like medical consultations, online banking, or any other really important data. If you anxious about security then we advise to use our LiveChatNow! Enterprise Edition instead of LiveChatNow! Hosted Edition. LiveChatNow! Enterprise Edition is possible to host on your own server.
Visitor Transfer — transfer visitor to the best–suited operator. (e.g. Operator from General group may transfer existing customer to operator in Support group and visitor which decides to buy something to operator from Sales group)
Visitor Tracking — System tracks if visitor has attached notes, or old chat transcripts.
Pull Visitor — pull visitor that is waiting for a chat or request a chat by opening a chat window on visitors side.
Operator Groups — operators could be separated in operator groups. Each operator could be assigned to several operator groups also.
Audio Notifications — alerts you on events like new website visitors, new chat sessions or call distribution request.
Unlimited Operators — you may setup any number of operators in Client Zone.
Unlimited Operator Groups — we do not limit this option too.
Canned Answers — use preset text and HTML elements to speed up your answers.
Real Time Website Monitoring — you can see all visitors on your website in a real–time as they browse your website. You can request chat with visitor using Live Engage feature or directly open chat window in popup.
Exclude IPs — exclude definite IPs from monitoring
Text Preview — see what your visitor is typing before submitting message to you. “Visitors is typing” indicator is dinosaur against text preview feature.
Operator is typing indicator — shows “Operator is typing” message to your visitor when operator starts typing. Operator is typing indicator makes visitor more calm while waiting for the operator’s response. You can enable/disable this feature.
Clocks — shows how much time visitor have spent on the site.
Chat reports — tracks time spent in chat by visitors and each operator that chatted with visitor. You may get total time spent by operator in chats.
Built–in Browser — web browser is highly integrated with most features of our operator’s software. It is possible to integrate your website with built in operator’s software browser. So operators would be able to view visitor's shopping cart, add/remove products and many other things that you can imagine.
Hide to Tray — Hide operator’s software to system tray and frees your desktop space. Alert popup and audio alerts would notify you.
Push Page — open browser on client’s side with any url like a web page, some file for download or secret url which gives access to restricted area.
Follow Me — when you enable “Follow Me” feature a browser window is opened on visitor's side and follows clicks you do in built in browser.
Push Image — push images directly in chat window.
Screensaver Detection — software will go to offline status when your screen saver starts.
No plug–ins — our chat window does not requires any plug–in or Java VM to be installed. Many Competing chat systems relies on Java directly or indirectly. Sometimes features like Form Sharing/Co–Browse require Java. Our system does not require java for visitor side. (We plan to offer Java based operators software as an option to traditional Windows based one). Java is good technology but Java is not installed in all browsers. Java works in different manner in different browsers due to different Java Security Manager configurations. Java usually uses direct socket connections or UDP packet that may not work via firewall, NAT, proxies. Our chat systems uses HTTP outbound connections that is possible to route via regular or transparent HTTP proxy.
Full Featured Software — we offer superior full featured software for the best price. We do not offer unprofitable free/cheap versions and expensive full featured software. Our clients should not pay/donate for free accounts. Our clients pay for the service that they get.

Works Everywhere — operator’s software will work everywhere where Internet Explorer works and even wider. Our software is able to connect directly to our server, via proxy server and via Internet Explorer. Chat could be engaged with most browsers like: Internet Explorer, Mozzila (FireFox, Safari, Netscape 6, 7), Opera 8.
System Requirements:
LiveChatNow! operator's software would work on any Windows based PC that has any sort of internet connection.
