Intelli-Chat by Professional Global Marketing is more of a do-it-yourself project and less of a service. For starters, you'll have to set up and host your own chat system. Unlike most of the live–services we reviewed, this is a one–time only software fee. There are no monthly charges to use the software.
Ease of Use:
The Intelli-Chat software wasn't simple to use, and we weren't able to get in touch with customer support to receive the help we needed.
Setup Ease:
Intelli-Chat sells you chat software only, and you must set the software up on your own computer server. This task requires some technical expertise, especially since you'll be on your own for setup.
Multi-Tasking Ease:
Multi-tasking was a challenge. Though you can manage multiple chats at the same time, the process is awkward because Intelli-Chat involves several extra steps to meet customer needs; the same tasks take one step using top-ranked chat services.
Monitoring Capabilities:
Intelli-Chat software includes all the tracking features we review but includes only a few website traffic monitoring tools: real-time visitor monitoring, alerts, and capture of visitor data.
Feature Set:
Intelli-Chat is limited chat software. The program doesn't offer marketing or safety features and offers few other features. The main tools include the ability to force webpages, preview text before sending, and the software allows you to modify canned greetings.
Help/Support:
At first we waited two days for an email response. Later, we waited a full month before receiving a response. We felt Intelli-Chat representatives were not interested in our needs. If you buy this software, you will be on your own for setup and maintenance.
Scalability:
Intelli-Chat is unique in that it does not charge a monthly fee — ever. With this program you load the software and use it as you will. Ironicly, we found Intelli-Chat's "Live Chat" support to be offline frequently. We find it difficult to sell a product when the demonstration of that product is not available on the website.
Summary:
We were not pleased with Intelli-Chat customer service because we were not able to get help quickly. There are far better live host chat services available for your money.
